Sacred Rituals –Triveni Kalpam
Triveni Kalpanam, stands as a sacred ceremony deeply entrenched in the ancient traditions of Sri Vidya. Within the range of spiritual practices, this ritual serves as a cornerstone, endeavoring to invoke divine energies and forge a connection with universal forces.
While intricate details regarding the ritual may dwell less prominently in mainstream discourse, its essence and significance find resonance within the broader context of tantric worship, particularly in the activation of divine energies latent within the practitioner. With the grace of the great Goddess and blessing from my own teacher, Guru Sri Karunamaya I have been granted permission to perform this ritual for individuals that may benefit from it.
Tri – means three, and at its core, the Triveni Kalpam Ritual is an endeavour to invoke the divine presence within the worshipper, by seeking to connect the individual’s physical body (1) with their lotus body (2) (also known as the light body with the chakras as the primary centres of consciousness) and cosmic body (3) (supreme consciousness in the form of a Yantra/ Sacred Geometry) . Symbolically, this ritual symbolizes the union between the devotee and the divine, and the masculine and feminine principles of Shiva and Shakti, fostering spiritual awakening leading to soul consciousness. The ritual involves a well-orchestrated use of a sequence of specific mantras, mudras (hand gestures), and yantras (sacred geometry), to activate and harmonize the spiritual energies within the practitioner.
Intentions and Invocations
Central to the Ritual is the intention to facilitate a direct communion with the divine, offering the practitioner a profound experience of unity with the universal energies. The invocations uttered during the ritual resonate with reverence, summoning the goddess in her myriad forms, and celebrating the divine feminine energy, known as Shakti, which manifests within the practitioner.
